90. In The Trench.

I'm back with more FATEwear from their recent new releases.  It's that time of the year.  The beautiful colours of fall return with the almost forgotten chill of the autumn air.  Well, we all know that means it's time to bundle up or be tough and freeze  your ass off.  I don't know about you, but I'm too old to be tough: I opt for bundling up!  And we all want to do that in style, right?

FATEwear has the perfect coat to take you from the busy city to a country stroll in class.  This handsome trench styled coat is cinched at the waist and casually tied off.  The workmanship in this piece is all that you'd expect from FATEwear.  The detailing and refinement of the mesh exhibit a true understanding of how material would play in the real world.  The coat comes in a range of colours: desert, london, tundra, ocean, void, and volcano.

I've paired up the Roy pants with his jacket.  The casual yet tailored fit of the pants finishes off this clean look perfectly.  And the subtle detail of the striping in the material is enough to create some interest and texture.

Guys! Get over to FATEwear and grab some demos! :)

88. FATEwear 2.0

FATEwear hasn't been open that long, but we are already being treated to a new round of amazing creations.  I have a bunch of things to show you, so this is going to be broken into a couple posts again.

Above is the Dean Jacket in Volcano. And it sure is hot!  The styling is perfect for these coming autumn day. Half zipped with the fabric draped casual and realistically against your chest and the detailing of the straps and snaps.  This jacket is full of interest and comes in a range of colours and you can wear it with or without includes shirts.

The newly released turtleneck sweater Sheldon has a warm and cosy look while staying clean and stylish. It's straight forward restrained design is complimented by the rich detail in texturing of the fabric and shadows.  Perfect to pair with your jeans, slacks or leathers.

81. The Brooklyn Jacket

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Well, here it is the start of September.  It's hard to believe that the summer is coming to a close already and we need to enjoy these last few days of sun and warmth before things start to change.

But, there is a bright side to the change in climate.  You get to go shopping for cool weather clothing and I have some great things to show you to add some warmth and style to your autumn.

To start with is this great leather jacket that was recently released by hoorenbeek.  The mesh and texturing are up to the usual high quality that you'd expect and it comes in six colours: black, beige, brown, burgundy, grey and tan.  The jackets include variety of t-shirt options if you choose to wear the jacket open like I did.  You also have the option of wearing it zipped up on those really cool days.

I'm wearing the burgundy jacket here along with the V-neck, half tucked cross t-shirt.  I really like how the half tuck t-shirt shows off the belt buckle on the jeans.  Additionally, I went with some nice red Dr. H boots to play off the burgundy of the jacket.  Toss on some stylish and sleek Hollywood glasses and you are set with a warm but cool look for the fall.

Additional side note for you, hoorenbeek's is currently having a sale for additional t-shirt designs that work with all of their mesh jackets.  Just 200L each til the end of today.

76. Old School.

Howdy All!

Well, I made it to the Fashion Voodoo by Depraved Nation.  I picked up a few nice things and am showing off the first of them today.

I can't resist a well done and unique jacket.  This leather Old School jacket from N-Creation is just that.  Tons of details in the texturing and mesh and a great fit.  It comes in 3 colours (I'm wearing brown).  This jacket also comes with 4 built in shirts and this jacket looks awesome with khakis or jeans...whatever you mood may be.

71. Dark Ty Rising.

So, I've been pretty tame ever since I did that circus look back when I was starting up my blog.  Haven't I?  Well, I feel the need to do something a bit outside my normal comfort zone.

I've had this cape from TV in my inventory for awhile now.  I liked it when I first saw it, but was never exactly sure how to use it.  I knew it had to be dramatic.  And, I guess I was a bit inspired by The Dark Knight Rises that releases this weekend. I've gone with a lot black offset with silver hair from Aitui, silver boots from hoorenbeek and silver jewelry from Mandala.  I hope you like this fun break from the usual.

As a side note, hoorenbeek now has a Facebook presence to keep everyone informed with what is going on with them!  And to celebrate they want to give you a free item (packs and outfits not included) just for liking them on Facebook!

Here's what you do:
1) Go to Facebook and "like" them: https://www.facebook.com/pages/-hoorenbeek-/384074228321046
2) Then send a notecard to Ansor Hoorenbeek inworld with the following information:
     - Your SL name
     - Your Facebook name
     - the product you want from the store (be sure to use the exact name)
3) HURRY!  This offer is only going to available for a limited time.

70. My Hair Fair Find.

So, I made the effort to get to the Hair Fair this weekend.  Now, it's Tuesday and my hand cramps from the multiple attempts to TP to the event have finally eased off enough for me to type again.  Dramatic, eh?

So, today is a completely casual look.  I've teamed up his great 6th Avenue Heartache Wedge from Exile that I picked up at the Hair Fair with my stylish and relaxed suede blazer from hoorenbeek.  For a touch of colour: red pants!  It definitely attracts the eye if you have something you want to show off...  Well, just saying!

69. Sharp Dressed Man.

Every girl is crazy about them.  Well, that's what ZZ Top said, so it has to be true.

And you'll certainly be turning heads in one of hoorenbeek's mesh suits.  I'm showing you the black and white pinstripe version of their suit today, but it does come in a range of colours both solid and pinstriped.

By now you know that I appreciate clothing that is well executed and provides options to customise a personal look or make the item have multiple uses.  Theses suits have just that!  You can go with the full three piece suit for the very formal look or forgo the vest and you have a traditional two piece suit.  It doesn't end there:  wear the suit pants with  just the dress shirt with rolled up sleeves, or wear the blazer with a polo or tee with jeans!  This isn't just a suit to be worn to those SL weddings you feel obligated to attend.  This is a functional piece for your wardrobe!

These suits are complete!  They include detailed belts in black or brown leather with gold or silver accents and huds to change the tie and handkerchief colours.  And, as you can see above, you can loosen off your tie for a more relaxed look after the formalities are done.  All you really need to add are the shoes and a splash of your own personality.

62. Summer Comfort.

It's summer.  At least that's true for the part of the world I'm in!  So, it's great to see more summer wear coming out.  And well done, wearable shorts at that!  I've used the new chino shorts from Epicosity to make this straight forward and put together look for any summer day.

61. Not So Basic Afterall.

Talk about having options!  Not only does the Mesh Basic Shirt from hoorenbeek come in a variety of solid and striped colours, it gives you the option of wearing it tucked, untucked, half tucked or even layered under a vest or jacket.  It's clearly a more casual approach to their line of mesh dress shirts that include a tie.

I've gone for a simple and elegant look today pairing up the brown & black striped basic shirt with a pair of casual jeans.  You could quickly and easily turn this look into a refined evening statement by adding a jacket and/or sitching the jeans out for a darker jean or slack.

Hope you all are having a great weekend!  And Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canucks!

60. A Touch of Retro.

I had of a little bit of a 70's throwback vibe going on for this one!  The patchwork jeans the major 'stache!

The fun and funky pants are the Madras Pants and like most of their clothing, it's more of a system than an article of clothing unto itself.  You buy the base pants for 400L and then are able to choose from a range of other colours at 150L each to add to the base.  Changing the textures are as easy as clicking on the included HUD.

The new Layered Vest by Epicosity was a great find.  The built in tee has a wide range of colours, so this one item could be the key piece to many outfits: just pair it with short, jeans or khaki's.

56. Tie One On.

It's a laid back Sunday for me this week.  Out my window is grey and blah.  So, I've retreated into SL to kill some time and guess what I've ended up doing?  Yep, new blog time.

Mandala had a new release that caught my eye today.  Their new Hokusai Watch that comes in a range of colours and each has the option of a silver or gold face and a casual or formal strap.  I've gone with the silver and casual (cuff) strap as seen in the image below.  As would be expected, this watch is chalk full of rich detail...even if the dial doesn't really keep time.

And I'm wearing culottes.  Yeah, I know.  Shocking!  But, who knew you could throw them together with a more edgier look and make it work?  It works for me at any rate!  Chronokit has these culottes available in 8 colours and 8 patterns.  I stuck with black...it's manly.

Enjoy your Sunday!
Ty

49. The Leather Blazer

Hoorenbeek released this great leather blazer recently.  It comes in six colours: black, white, olive, burgundy, tan and brown.  As Hoorenbreek does, the blazer is stylish and elegant with both a closed and open version.  Perfect for dressing it up with some slacks or going a more casual route with jeans.

42. Tall, Dark and Mysterious

I had written this whole long winded explanation of this outfit, but I erased it somehow.  I'm special that way sometimes.  Anyhow, this is the third and final look from my visit to the new collection at The Mens Dept. this week.

The outfit (sweater and pants) are mesh and are one piece.  I definitely makes worrying about your pants breaking through your shirt a non-issue.  I love the texturing and detail of the outfit itself and the only draw back is that it's not lined.  Therefore, you will notice that you can see clear through if you look into a sleeve or the collar of the shirt.

I went outside of my comfort zone a bit and grabbed some long mesh hair and tossed on a pair of my favourite clunky boots.

Enjoy guys and don't forget to head over to The Mens Dept. to check out all the great stuff in this month's collection

35. Spring Training.

Spring is here and it's time to test out the old equipment and make sure everything is in working order.  With that in mind, Lavi and I headed to the nearest park and worked on our swing before catching a touch of spring fever.

I picked up these great Sports Shorts from Shiver the other day.  They are mesh and come in a range of colour and 4 different sizes to suit your shape.  You'll also want to grab some prim socks now that the weather is calling for shorts.

For the low down on what Lavi is wearing, check out her blog: So Let It Be Written...

31. Feelin' Blue?

Well, SL is giving me a hard time rezzing stuff.  So, the outfit that I was intending to do next is on a bit of a delay.  So, what better time to show off this great shirt from Chronokit in blue...while I have the SL rezzing blues.

26. Vested Interest

Hoorenbeek just released this amazing mesh vest.  The vest comes in 6 colours.  The shirt and tie can be changed via hud with 8 shirt colours and 9 tie colours.  This vest would look great with a pair of nice jeans or with slacks like I am am wearing below.

With the amount of colour options available, this vest will be a versatile and essential part of your wardrobe for those casual or dressy times.

25. I wanna be a...

... Porn Star!  Ok, maybe not, but my shirt does! LOL

I picked up this very cool hair by Shag and paired it up with some stuff that's been kicking around my inventory for awhile.

The look comes off as cool and relaxed with the tousled hair, playful shirt and subtle piercings.

Top O' The Mornin'!

Aye, it's the day to wear a wee bit o' green, m'lad!

I tried out a new photo technique.  My roomie suggested it and I think it turned out pretty well.

I've gone all proper and well dressed with my green blazer and cap!  I even found these nice freebie jeans with a clover on them from Fir in the KMADD freebie area.  Hope you remember to wear some green today (and maybe drink a green pint or two) and have a Happy St. Patrick's Day!

FFL: Hawaii or Bust!

Here's another look that I built around an item that I picked up at the Fashion For Life event that runs until March 20th in support of the American Cancer Society.

This shirt came from the Oahu Red Ginger outfit by Shiki and included a pair of striped peachy pants.  The shirt definitely reminds you of those warm tropical vacations and has nicely sculpted rolled sleeves and collar.  I've elected to make the look a little more my own by subbing in some black cargo shorts.
