73. Moto Jacket from L&B.

I gotta say I'm a happy boy!  What's better than to log in after a nice enjoyable sunny weekend in the rl only to see that one of your favourite designers had done it again with a new release!

I'm talking about the new "Moto" leather jacket that has just been released by Lapointe & Bastchild.  This great looking jacket has the detail you always expect from them and comes in 9 colours and 3 designs (2 of which are limited editions).  I picked up the fatpack that came with a hud to change the jacket texture and includes everything except the limited editions.

I have to admit that I'm usually more into the open jackets than the closed ones.  But, this jacket is pretty sweet and flawless!  The detailing on the back panel is brilliant.  I can't tell you how many times I've loved the front of something when shopping around only to be disappointed by the lack of attention paid to the back ... definitely not the case here!

72. New Vest from Sey

Happy Friday!

It's been a week since I posted last!  Time sure flies in the summer, eh?

Well, today I've got a great weekend look for you.  Sey has this amazing vest out now that is comes in a variety of patterns and it even includes an optional tee change with a hud to change the colour.  It's easy to make any outfit look pulled together with a layered item like this and you can't beat the attention to detail that goes into Sey products.

71. Dark Ty Rising.

So, I've been pretty tame ever since I did that circus look back when I was starting up my blog.  Haven't I?  Well, I feel the need to do something a bit outside my normal comfort zone.

I've had this cape from TV in my inventory for awhile now.  I liked it when I first saw it, but was never exactly sure how to use it.  I knew it had to be dramatic.  And, I guess I was a bit inspired by The Dark Knight Rises that releases this weekend. I've gone with a lot black offset with silver hair from Aitui, silver boots from hoorenbeek and silver jewelry from Mandala.  I hope you like this fun break from the usual.

As a side note, hoorenbeek now has a Facebook presence to keep everyone informed with what is going on with them!  And to celebrate they want to give you a free item (packs and outfits not included) just for liking them on Facebook!

Here's what you do:
1) Go to Facebook and "like" them: https://www.facebook.com/pages/-hoorenbeek-/384074228321046
2) Then send a notecard to Ansor Hoorenbeek inworld with the following information:
     - Your SL name
     - Your Facebook name
     - the product you want from the store (be sure to use the exact name)
3) HURRY!  This offer is only going to available for a limited time.

70. My Hair Fair Find.

So, I made the effort to get to the Hair Fair this weekend.  Now, it's Tuesday and my hand cramps from the multiple attempts to TP to the event have finally eased off enough for me to type again.  Dramatic, eh?

So, today is a completely casual look.  I've teamed up his great 6th Avenue Heartache Wedge from Exile that I picked up at the Hair Fair with my stylish and relaxed suede blazer from hoorenbeek.  For a touch of colour: red pants!  It definitely attracts the eye if you have something you want to show off...  Well, just saying!

69. Sharp Dressed Man.

Every girl is crazy about them.  Well, that's what ZZ Top said, so it has to be true.

And you'll certainly be turning heads in one of hoorenbeek's mesh suits.  I'm showing you the black and white pinstripe version of their suit today, but it does come in a range of colours both solid and pinstriped.

By now you know that I appreciate clothing that is well executed and provides options to customise a personal look or make the item have multiple uses.  Theses suits have just that!  You can go with the full three piece suit for the very formal look or forgo the vest and you have a traditional two piece suit.  It doesn't end there:  wear the suit pants with  just the dress shirt with rolled up sleeves, or wear the blazer with a polo or tee with jeans!  This isn't just a suit to be worn to those SL weddings you feel obligated to attend.  This is a functional piece for your wardrobe!

These suits are complete!  They include detailed belts in black or brown leather with gold or silver accents and huds to change the tie and handkerchief colours.  And, as you can see above, you can loosen off your tie for a more relaxed look after the formalities are done.  All you really need to add are the shoes and a splash of your own personality.

68. Meet Tyler.

Redgrave has just released a new male skin!  And, let me tell you, it has been worth the wait.  Please, meet Tyler.  The Tyler skins come in three tones: pale, tan and dark.  But, these are more than just skins, they are a skin system.

I've picked up the tan version of the Tyler skin and that's what is being featured in the images seen here.  Oh, and as a side note, these pictures are straight from SL and unedited (other than slapping hte framing on).  So, what you see is how the skin looks inworld.

Let me start by saying that this skin is chalk full of the attention to detail and the refinement that we have come to expect from Redgrave.  And, just to take it up a notch, they have included a ton of options to help you personalise your skin.

As seen above, each of the five facial hair options comes with a version with and without body hair.  Yeah, that's right.  You actually end up getting ten skin.  But, that's not all.

The facial hair options will take you from pretty boy to pretty rugged.  The options range from shaved to a full beard as you can see.  Four of  the facial hair variations are above and the shaved look is below.

Finally, to add that last bit of customisation, there are four tattoo layer effects that are included: Kajal Eyes, Open Lips, Tanbooster Bronze and Tanbooster Smooth.  You can use these layers in combination to come up with your perfect look or not.  These layers are optional to enhance you look if you desire.

67. Look To The Sky.

Well, today I guess I was inspired by the blue skies!  Don't worry, I pulled in lots of my signature black too.

I'm sporting the classic tee in sky from Entente and teamed that up with their well detailed Couleur Jeans (this is the default colour) and finally the Les Affaires Tie to as some whimsy to the look.  And, hell, I just had to dig out a hat.  Nothing says fun and carefree like a funky hat...or is that just me?

The great back drop here is from Lisp.  It's the "Sunshine Sky Drapes" with matching rug.  It definitely manages to bring the outdoors inside in a querky and fun way.

65. Heat Up The Summer!

Happy Saturday Guys!

I spent some time making my way around the grid to scout out the hot stuff for this weekend!

Here's a light and refreshing look that will help you add some heat to your summer looks.  The Mens Dept has restocked for July and is loaded with great finds.  Here I've pulled the Dylan skin from Belleza, the cropped chinos from Drop and brightly coloured polo from Sleepy Eddy.  And you cant' forget the great hair by Atro Patena from the Grunge Soul Project collection (Atro Patena also has a hair available at The Mens Dept).

I'll be back soon with more finds!

64. Mesh Jeans from L&B

Finally, what I have been waiting for for the longest time.  L&B have released mesh jeans for men!

With 9 styles and 2 special editions, there will have to be a look that suited to you.  And, of course, there is the attention to design and detail that shines through with all of the products offered by L&B.

But, why am I so into these new jeans?  Well, I have always loved L&B, but these jeans actually cut with a more mature and masculine look.  With the rounded butt and implied musculature of the legs, down to the bootcut finish, the silhouette is perfect!  The bootcut is going to allow you the room you need to wear boots and other bulkier footwear too.

63. Summer Layers

It's another hot day out there so a cool summer look was needed.  The inspiration from this one came from the Kauna's Open Shirt that is currently the free group gift from faMESHed.  This shirt is well textured to give it that light, soft look that's perfect for looking cool on hot summer days.

So, join that faMESHed group and get this awesome shirt.  Don't forget to check out the other great items there for July including this shirt in a variety of colours.

62. Summer Comfort.

It's summer.  At least that's true for the part of the world I'm in!  So, it's great to see more summer wear coming out.  And well done, wearable shorts at that!  I've used the new chino shorts from Epicosity to make this straight forward and put together look for any summer day.

61. Not So Basic Afterall.

Talk about having options!  Not only does the Mesh Basic Shirt from hoorenbeek come in a variety of solid and striped colours, it gives you the option of wearing it tucked, untucked, half tucked or even layered under a vest or jacket.  It's clearly a more casual approach to their line of mesh dress shirts that include a tie.

I've gone for a simple and elegant look today pairing up the brown & black striped basic shirt with a pair of casual jeans.  You could quickly and easily turn this look into a refined evening statement by adding a jacket and/or sitching the jeans out for a darker jean or slack.

Hope you all are having a great weekend!  And Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canucks!
Ty
